Plant Neu-Ulm
In 1946, Karl Konzelmann founded a company at the Neu-Ulm site.
Since 2005, the plant in Neu-Ulm has been part of the OETINGER Group. Our plant is equipped with state-of-the-art processing facilities, including scrap shears, chip crushers and thermal as well as mechanical chip processing systems. These systems are crucial for processing the delivered material and preparing it for optimal use in our production.
Around 260 tonnes of aluminium are produced here every day by 56 employees working in 3 shifts.
At Neu-Ulm, up to 16 liquid metal deliveries are loaded up each day to ensure that we can supply our customers using the just in time (lean manufacturing) philosophy. Over the last 50 years, a total of more than 3 million tonnes of liquid metal have been produced and delivered here.
In addition to liquid aluminium, between 20,000 and 35,000 tonnes of aluminium ingots are delivered to the Neu-Ulm and Weißenhorn sites each year.
