Oetinger stands for the highest precision and quality that does not allow any compromises. In our plant in Weißenhorn, as well as in all our other plants, a dedicated team works to create innovative process solutions that inspire our customers. But our vision extends far beyond the factory gates.
The future of the aluminium industry is our inspiration. We focus on sustainability, advanced technologies and close cooperation with our customers to jointly shape an aluminium world that meets the highest demands.
At the Weißenhorn plant, we look to the future with optimism and a zest for action and look forward to travelling this path with you.
Karl and Walter Oetinger founded Karl OETINGER KG at the Weißenhorn site in 1946.
Around 360 tonnes of aluminium are produced here every day with 75 employees working in 3 shifts. Up to 23 liquid metal deliveries are loaded “just in time” at this location and delivered to our customers. In addition to liquid aluminium, between 20,000 and 35,000 tonnes of aluminium ingots are delivered to the Weißenhorn and Neu-Ulm sites each year.
The first delivery of liquid metal took place in 1973. Over the 50 years, a total of more than 3 million tonnes of liquid metal have been produced and delivered.
At our plant in Weißenhorn, we rely on state-of-the-art processing facilities, including thermal and mechanical chip processing plants as well as a screening drum and two briquetting plants. These technological excellence plays a key role in processing the delivered material and thus for optimal use in our production.
By continuously investing in our production systems, we ensure that we will continue to meet the quality demands of our customers in the future.Download
