We would like to inform you that AS Oxidwerke GmbH has been proudly acquired by the Oetinger Aluminium Group since December, 1st 2023.

This exciting takeover opens up new horizons and consolidates our position as a leading company in the aluminium industry.

AS Oxidwerke GmbH operates a plant for the integrated recycling of aluminium salt slag at the Stockach site.

The resulting materials – salt, aluminium oxide and aluminium granulate – are thus returned to industrial use. The recycling of aluminium salt slag is a very important part of aluminium recycling.

Rotary drum furnaces are dependent on the use of salt for economic utilisation. Recycling the aluminium salt slag produced in the process saves raw materials and prevents the slag from going to landfill, which was previously the norm.
